I think many of the enemies meant to match those skills and abilities don't appear until much later in the game.

Like I don't even understand why Concentration or the arrow bullet time thing exists. IF its gonna be a thing at all, it should be primarily for shooting eagles. Not mapping tower guards from 300m out

Upgraded longbow (shyt, even half bow) with concentration is pretty much a sniper rifle lol I’ve taken out entire camps with just these two bows like Rambo in the sky.

maybe it would have made more sense to split the skill trees up per GAME, so you were forced into stealth or samurai. But the way the game is you max out skills points just playing through the game so you have everything at your disposal anyway and every skill and weapon you get is powerful.

Not gonna spoil it, but you are correct. it feels alot more balanced later on. The basic bandits early on never present much of challenge

I’m still early in on act 2...I have all 4 fighting stances tho and have leveled up twice for each one...swordplay still feels competitive but I agree that the “sidearms” give you a crazy advantage...maybe they could stand to limit them especially since you can’t use them in boss fights...them shyts be bailing me the fukk out tho when the odds get overwhelming :whew:

Me too, i try to avoid stealth as well when possible. Never felt any reward to it in any games, it's either tedious and boring or easy. You never feel like , wow that stealth sequence was amazing.:gladbron:

Battle for the Long Bow wasn’t too bad. Took 2 tries as I literally couldn’t see some of bjs attacks due to the birds

Part of me feels like this is why games need/overuse leveling systems, because at least you KNOW for a fact some enemies can one shot you at all points of the game.

Also, it’s nice to have that SUPER end game optional boss you can train to beat. I wanted to plat the game but there’s no real challenge left at this point.

Also, I’m gonna make this my last criticism of the game because it might seem like I’m not enjoying it which is false. But open world games all have this problem in the 3rd acts. Where you get powerful enough that most enemies aren’t giving you a challenge anymore, there aren’t anymore mysteries left in the game, you’ve unlocked all the fun stuff and seen most of f whats left to be seen so you kind of just want to end it instead of clearing things up.

Same thing happened with me in BOTW and thats my top 3 of all time

Has anyone bought the revival skill?

Yeah it’s good for duels but one of the less interesting skills.

I honestly activated it maybe twice? You revive with no health which makes it not that useful BUT you can get a charm that gives you 50% of your health back when you use it. By that point you’re already pretty powerful so its a waste of a charm slot.
