Key words in my post were calorie controlled so any single individuals personal anecdotes aren't really relevant, since it has been shown time and time again that people are not reliable reporters of their own dietary intake and activity levels. Often under-reporting calorie intake by as much as 50% and over-reporting activity expenditure by as much as 50%. I'm gonna pretend you didn't mention diabetes for a second, and ask you if you know what your daily calorie intake was over those years of your life where you fluctuated in weight? If you are like 99.99% of the population, the answer is no. Just a thought, ignoring the insulin resistance issue.

That being said, diabetes is a whole different ballgame. Obviously when talking about carbs, diabetes has its own set of guidelines. So I'm not dismissing what you are saying, I'm just trying to speak in terms of how it affects otherwise healthy individuals and why the term "clean" is thought of as a joke by some people

I am still open to new information. Its always coming and thoughts are always evolving.
I did watch everything, in the latter years, and I'm telling you it made a difference. At first it didn't but overtime, you can clearly see a difference in looks and the way I felt. Again, unless you lived it, I understand you not believing it but, I am so happy I figured it out. Every time people find out how old I am, they do a double take. One lady really thought I was lying, and just brushed me off. I study myself physically and mentally EVERYDAY so i notice the small changes, and what I ate or did that may have caused it.

Don't do it....

with out first educating yourself about the pros and cons, as well as dosage

Way ahead of you breh. Only things I'm afraid of are losing my balls and hair.

Eventually I want to look like Ulisses Jr (but at about 230lbs.). I know I'm not gonna hit that naturally, even if I trained for 100 years.

Yeah exactly hypothetically let's say duke is natural, miss me with the dude is African rhetoric, his diet would have be prestige and high tailored( very expensive) and would have extensive background in nutrition or someone in his camp does, and these are one of many things that depend on if all the variables in play go as planned or dude could have easily rode his bike to the gym instead of walked :ehh:

I can see this is slowly turning into a game of mental gymnastics....

:manny: i dont get whats hard to believe
ull see some african nikkas who never lifted a single weight lookin like someone whose been living in the
gym for the past two years

them nikkas strong as hell too.

Dude stick to healthcare :camby:

Because what you fail to integrate into your strawman of an argument is: the intensity, rest period, reps, muscles targeted, type of training(strength, power, finesse, etc) etc.....

I''ve been working out for 2-3 days a week for the past 4/5 years and I'm willing to bet I look better than 90% of people who workout 3+ Times a week, not to mention I have much more raw strength...

Matter of fact the main reason why people never see gains is because they don't rest enough, I put on the most size and strength when I started taking more days off....

Look breh this argument has already been addressed, several times, within the last couple pages.

In summary while is possible, it's highly improbable, without the help of some agents.

Spare me with the he's African b/s.

When i say working out i mean over all exercising, not lifting 6 times a week. I lift 3 times a week(chest and tris one day, back and bi's one day, legs and shoulders one day) and do cardio one day and core workout one day totaling 5 days. And im assuming when people work out its intense lifting, power sets, drop sets ect. you know, the shyt that has proven to get u good results.

Im sure someone on that schedule will get better results then some one who works out 2-3 days :mjlol:

and you're missing the point of recovery period breh. Your muscles dont need 4 days to recover :mjlol:

so the fact that u are only working out 2-3 days a week means u are not getting the most out of your weekly workouts

chill with your :camby:

do some research before u comment.

I don't believe in that genetic potential shyt. I don't think you can relegate it to a formula. Berkhan's is especially dumb, he just wants everyone to be an ectomorph like him.

My shoulders (and back obviously since something has to connect my shoulders) are wider than all outside with or without weights so saying I need to get down to the 170s to be single digit body fat just because I'm 5'11" is really trivializing things. I believe once my legs and glutes are on par with my back, who knows how high a weight I could be with 10ish % body fat.

Hes right....

Obv not.... 6 days a week for 2 hours a day.... but 6 days a week at a volume u can handle, sure, why not

I bench 3x a week now... I am benching more in every rep range than Ive ever benched before

U just have to be smart.... do a lot of deloading.... keep the volume reasonable... etc etc

Some natural powerlifters hit their big 3 damn near every day..................
