yeah but GGG is accurate and more importantly can cut off the ring on somebody....which is why I can't see GGG having hell on timing Lara but he would have to put in some work...especially when Lara gets on his bike

I think lara has gotten better since the Nelo fight. A win over another Chapin level fighter think of guys like either Charlo or maybe Jacobs at 160 and I think lara deserves a shot at either canelo again or lil g

Word from the curb in Dan's chats is that he is skeptical as well and that is his most desired fight in boxing, so he is all over it.
Basically it will get done when Canelo chooses to. He has the power and won't make it until he is comfortable. Dan has backed off and is saying the fall is highly unlikely. If the WBC enforces it's own rules, Canelo will be forced to vacate, but word is that the title isn't important to him, he values wins and opponents more. So it sounds like keeping the title isn't a negotiating power move for GGG, just like how Canelo doesn't care about getting any of the 154 lb titles.
Canelo-GGG will happen when Canelo is ready to negotiate hard to make the fight and do it because he truly wants it...because I think GGG might come down in weight a little, but not to 155...so it is up to when Canelo wants the fight.
Personally I think Canelo wants to put on two blockbusters this year where he is the favorite and strengthen his brand and legacy before getting in the ring vs. GGG, as he knows that is the toughest fight available to him and probably the only fight (sans- Mayweather) where he would be the underdog.
