Canelo has shown time and time again he would fight nikkas everyone said he wouldn't. First it was Trout and then it was Lara he fought them when he really had NO reason to because he could make money with literally anyone. Lara is an anti draw and Canelo did like 400k with that nikka. The same Lara who Team ggg want no part of. Canelo has one of the best resumes in boxing at 25 yrs old if he wants some soft touches before ggg he can get that. Golovkin has had a whole career of soft touches.

How much more stepping up can GGG do at this point? The promoters are protecting certain fighters from facing him. The guys trying to unify the middleweight division and move on but everybody wants him to see saw around the weight divisions just so those prize belts in the middleweight division can stay in their possession.

I would watch GGG vs Lara even though I wouldn't cheer for any one of them. If GGG would fight Lara and dominate like he does against nobodies then I would give him more respect as a fighter

That would make sense if GGG wasn't picking and choosing who he'd go up or down for. We'd come down for Floyd but not Canelo. We'd go up for Chavez but not for Ward. Abel Sanchez and company keep talking like they'll make moves for the money fight, but they keep ending up with tomato cans on regular cable. His team need to cut the crap cause they're doing him a disservice. Even though he's feasting on bums and furthering the narrative, they're wasting 6-8 weeks of wear and tear on his 34 year old body in camp for these lopsided matches.
