Lol you act like tech didn’t beat uga 3 times with PJ
Did they yes, two were under a departed coach and the other was the current coaches first year. Anyone without bias can see this wasn't trending well for CPJ

MLK BLVD..
Seems like all the elite Atlanta players go to UGA, Auburn or Clemson.

Tech has to find a way to tap into that somehow

Only will happen if they get a coach who is running spread out run option or 4 receiver and 1 running back offense.. then they probably can pull in recruits... that might take a couple of years or so

Bruh it’s some good talent in the city but they probably won’t be able to qualify for Tech. And then some they don’t even go after.

Cam Newton little brother went to a high school 4 minutes from Tech but I don’t think they even offered him a scholarship. He’s beasting up at Howard in DC tho

TYRONE GA!
Gotcha.....who has a tougher admissions standards?

Not a big enough difference to say one vs another since it's so close. But Stanford has a WIDE variety of undergrad programs compared to Tech that makes it hard to really compare. If you can get admitted to Stanford engineering you probably can get into Tech and vice versa

Of course the ATL
UGA hasn’t had to compete in state for any skill position recruits for almost a decade.

:dwillhuh:

Every major school in the SEC/ACC competes Georgia hard and even at its peak GT was never and will never be a major threat to compete with the top 4 & 5 star recruits with UGA. You act like GT made an active decision to stop recruiting top athletes when they hired CPJ...they got athletes who fit the school and those are 2 & 3 stars. Tech can recruit better but you're insane if you think Tech is gonna recruit against UGA for athletes now that they have a new coach

UGA has never had a QB is dynamic as Joe Hamilton

UGA has never had a WR as dynamic as Megatron.

The Paul Johnson era erased those type of players for a whole generation of recruits.

Hopefully a new coach can adjust the balance of power in the state. I’m not naive, Tech will always be the “Little Brother” to UGA for various reasons. But depending on who the new hire is, things can get more competitive.

We'll see breh...UGA under Kirby has completely changed the dynamics of recruiting in the state. That's how dominant he's been recruiting in Georgia. But honestly UGA and Tech aren't rescuing the same athletes, Tech better hold off Vandy, Duke, Wake Forest and schools like that. Tech isn't competing with UGA for top athletes

And it's gonna take at least a couple years for Tech to be anywhere close to competitive, this roster is built for option football. I can guaranteee you the next coach won't be running that offense and it will take a couple years to turn this roster over.
