I think all of game of thrones is trash. How you have a fantasy show with Dragons and Ice people but no other fantasy elements? Where is the Sorcery? Goblins, Elves etc. Whats the point in barely dabbing a pinkie toe into the genre? Might as well get rid of the dragons, and treat it like straight historical fiction. show more comparable to HBO's Rome, than lord of the rings, and yet they have dragons flying around. Never got into because of that.

Melisandre and Mirri Maz Dur were sorceresses in their own right. The Three Eyed Raven/Crow was a greenseer. And the Children of the Forest were elvish types. I'm sure there are some others I've forgotten.

I don’t think you’re too far off but no. It was close for a TV show but HBO deviated alot. My theory is in this day and age people have gotten really good at coming together and piecing together story pieces. So many times the community will know your next steps even before you do. This is problematic as you can’t write your original vision anymore.

GOT is based in a world where all that fantasy shyt died out and Dragons are like the only mythical things they WERE aware of until the Dragons returned with old girl.

HoD is straight to me… mainly because it has more dragons in the story than GOT originally did early on. Havent really gone in a deeper fantasy realm really because most of the show is about their family spat for war over the throne.

Its slow af but im giving them a chance. GOT was one of the greatest shows ever created until the last few seasons saw it fall off but thats mainly because this clown never finished the books and left it up to executives to decide on an outcome.


And all execs care about is money and viewers especially dealing with Warner Bros execs. They don’t give af about the books or the vision

I missed the actors from GOT
