I think all of game of thrones is trash. How you have a fantasy show with Dragons and Ice people but no other fantasy elements? Where is the Sorcery? Goblins, Elves etc. Whats the point in barely dabbing a pinkie toe into the genre? Might as well get rid of the dragons, and treat it like straight historical fiction. show more comparable to HBO's Rome, than lord of the rings, and yet they have dragons flying around. Never got into because of that.

He's right but iirc HoD is based off a series of books he completed. He should have negotiated for more control of the direction of the show especially seeing how writers fukked up GoT direction when his books couldn't serve as a guide
At this point I'm only watching HoD because of fomo and that's only going to last another season or two

I enjoyed the show but it really is fantasy for people who don't like fantasy.
