Plot wise they were straight. The problem was the execution. If he would've gotten someone else to direct and re-do the screenplay, they wouldn't have the rep they do now.
And how can you say he murdered the franchise when he was involved with The Clone Wars which is praised by all Star Wars fans?

He was asked a question man lol. He's an artist. Contrary to what people on this board think, taking money doesn't mean you shut your mouth and act as some gag order. He's able to have his opinions just like me or you and in fact as the guy who created this shyt he's well within his right to say whatever the hell he wants to say. George has never not been honest when it comes to his feelings on anything he's done, right or wrong, so 4 more billion on top of the billions he already had shouldn't change that at all. Nor would I want it to.

Even though I agree with Lucas, I do plan on seeing this for the third time and even more anxious for the future films and novels

I'm far more interested in Rogue One and Episode 8 than seeing this again

I just got a feeling once this movie hits tv its status when it comes on for people.

Thats not to say its a bad film. But I don't think it will have the longevity or the rewatchable factor. Time will tell though.

He HAD to know once he signed all of his lucasfilm and properties over to disney they wouldn't fukk with him based on the general principal of how much episodes 1-3 sucked...

I mean granted he's entitled to his opinion, but he still made the CHOICE to sell his baby...

Frankly he grew tired of being the figure head if he had a dissenting opinion all he had to do was say no comment...

In the video he mentions that he thought about doing another trilogy but he is already 70 and doesn't know if he'll be around long enough to finish it.
