I cannot compliment females nowadays. Its negative reinforcement for me. I had my simp period in my early to mid 20's where compliments would flow like water. Now my ego refuses to allow me to compliment a chick unless I REALLY REALLY MEAN it. I can't even bark out a fake or bullshyt compliments anymore. I just leave them hanging and say nothing when they expect one. I've gotten more p*ssy in the past 5 years dissing bytches than I have complimenting them. I mean that lets you know the bytches I fukk with ain't shyt but it works, I'm 33 no kids no wife mo money.

Any guy thats out here complimenting any female he comes across is lost why would you give women that type of power over you just like @malcolmxxx_45 said women only like that when they are attracted to the guy giving the compliment. I've been there done that its a waste of time, and if you do give out compliments get ready to be in the friend zone. Instagram is the worst thing that has happened for men because you got these average chicks using filters on pictures to make themselves look better then they actually do. Trying to talk to most women is a waste of time nowadays they think they are too good for dudes thats why I ignore the hell out of women in public, I refuse to be a simp out here

When she's not wearing much make-up if at all and when she's not stuck up. It is her God given right to be complimented by you.

In my experience, brehs that be on that the most, don't even relate to regular brehs.

They are that disconnected where the sayings that we as a ppl have, and the terms that we have, based on our common experience don't even register with them.

I compliment women all the time. Well, black women anyway. I make sure to highlight more than their body. They are used to that. I try to hit certain aspects such as facial features, intelligence, faith, strength, parenting etc. These are things black women NEED to hear but don't.

With that said most women don't care about your compliments. You'll often get rebuffed. Or ignored completely. It can be a thankless task. It's frustrating when you're speaking from the heart and the woman will go, "Thanks, I guess." But a lot of black women have low self esteem and they aren't equipped to understand and handle compliments. They have a self image burned into their souls. The hardest thing to change about a person is their self perception. I understand this and charge it to the game. Unless a woman finds you attractive your words don't mean much. That's the way of the world.

Yet and still I compliment black women. That might not be what most men do and that's fine. Just don't complain about the wretched state of black women when you can't even say a few words of encouragement. The only issue I have with the OP is the romanticism of it. Nothing romantic about it. This is not work that comes with a reward. You just do it because it's right.
