Economic issues isn’t the reason the far right is growing in power either, it comes down to racial class grievances
It is and you're too stupid to realize this which is why conservatives continue winning. When you have periods of economic austerity it invites all types of movements which includes fascist movements. Europe has been in an economic downturn since 2015, which has invited the opportunity for fascist movements to exist. When people are doing great financially, fascist movements suffer.

I’m too stupid to realize? You’re too stupid to realize that racial class interest trumps economic class interest for the racial majority in these countries.

There’s been an influx of immigration in the 2010’s as well. I wonder if that has more to do with the rise of the far right versus the imaginary economic grievances.

You either willfully ignore the elephant in the room or you’re unaware due to socialist indoctrination but either way you need to come to terms that racism trumps everything for the racial majority. Giving these people a pass for being passively racist just emboldens their negative impulse. Their racism needs to be criticized, shamed and be highlighted that’s the only way in my view to stop the cancer from growing.

You’re proving my point. The liberal parties have delivered in those European countries yet it’s not enough to stop the far right from rising in power. Economic issues isn’t the reason the far right is growing in power either, it comes down to racial class grievances

Mind you. He's creating quite the slippery slope if even left of center groups are unable to provide meaningful economic satisfaction when they have power.

I suppose he's just disingenuously attempting to shield his main goal and just say he ones left wing authoritarian government.

Of course it does, maybe you're having trouble comprehending what I am saying to you. Fascist movements only become a viable normalized alternative when economic austerity exist. Racism has always existed and will continue to exist, it's able to be used on the mainstage when the average person is struggling financially. You can even convince non racist that a subset of people is the causation to your problems.

Economic austerity is a meaningless term and is completely subjective. America did the best in recovering from the pandemic compared to any other first world nation and that didnt stop Trump from getting elected and Biden being widely unpopular.

Economic conditions are worse now than they were while Biden was President yet Trump has not lost any support from his base. As long as Trump continues to attack “DEI” and deport brown people which satisfies MAGA’s racial grievances he’ll maintain his support. These Trump voters no longer care about inflation, I wonder why?

Trump is also ramming brazen economic austerity and corruption through Americans throat right now by cutting programs, spending while announcing tax cuts for billionaires yet none of his base gives a damn.. I wonder why?

Why does economic implications only apply to liberals who go against racial class interest of the racial majority? Why was DEI so hated?

The common denominator of why Trump gets a pass but Dems have to be perfect is because the Republicans appeal to racial grievances yet Dems try to rise above it.

Correct me if I’m wrong but Germany and France have some if not all the social programs that leftist want Democrats to deliver on but that hasn’t stopped the far right parties in those countries from gaining momentum.

We need to have a better understanding on why large portions of these western countries have an affinity for fascism and it’s not because liberal “fail to deliver”

Blaming democrats or liberals is such a lazy cop out because it goes against the narrative leftist want to believe in that economic class interest trumps racial class interests

To make it quick: Economics, immigration, and identity.

Economics plays a factor as europe is in a recession and is still struggling to bounce back from the pandemic. Current leader’s usually take responsibility of the economy so if its bad, most want a change in leadership

On Immigration, a lot of syrian and middle eastern refugees came to Europe and arent assimilating well apparently. A lot of europeans feel they dont respect freedom of speech, arent tolerant of religions, commit terror attacks, want to veil women etc and want their “islamic” culture accommodated at the expense of their own.

Finally identity due to, imo, a lot of europeans still relying on “looks” when it comes to identity. Europe is not as diverse compared to North and South America so large immigration of different looking groups is causing an identity crisis of sorts. People are having to ask the questions of what makes “x” person a German, Pole, Englishmen etc when dealing with multiculturalism. A lot are feeling they are losing that identity.

All these issues were there previously however, with increased migration, constant terror attacks and bad economies its making the far right messaging more appealing.

Two out of the three are racial/ethnic grievances which supports my point and the far rights economic solutions devolves back to race as well

what?

this fool wanted to put 100% tariffs on countries apart of BRICS but didn't know china was in it?! :mindblown:

admitted to his ignorance publicly and walked it back because china was apart of it, basically told all other BRICS nations that chinas the top dog giving them even more influence within the economic bloc by having the U.S president acknowledge them in this manner and thwarting a tariff on those countries goods.

this guy doesn't know diplomacy or deal making at all.
