He’d Nino Brown that kid without a second thought.

If you have ever been to a developing country, you know Rich people live behind brick walls with razor or broken bottles cemented at the top, have bars on their windows and need to hire security guard at night. Some even have to pay for security to guard their children.

The only thing that kept wealthy Americans from having to live like this was they left just enough on the table to keep the masses happy. But over the last few decades, they said fukk it. We are going to be chazzars and eat as much as we can at the trough.

Elon is one evil son of a bytch. He could end world hunger and still be a billionaire. He bought an election and what is he doing with his influence? Gutting social programs. He could be using his influence to make sure everyone has healthcare, end the homelessness problem, make real strides to combat climate change or even reignite NASA but no, none of that is more important to him than to embolden racist and to make billionaires more rich.

Dude has his fingers in everything. He obviously pays off a lot of science influencers on YouTube and they tongue bathe his a$$hole, even the ones I respect. Now, he's got so much money everyone is afraid to touch him. You'd think Congress would be smart enough not to enable themselves to be disarmed by a billionaire's threats

It’s a sad state of affairs. I’ve been doing a deep dive of the Chinese economic model and aside from their historic achievements, the way they have managed to build immense wealth while keeping capital in check is nothing short of amazing.

They have managed to create a system that leverages the best elements of a market economy while shielding the public from the inherently selfishness and destructive nature of capital class. :wow:

It's pitiful and granted to a lesser severity but look at what the Republicans had the DOJ do to Hunter Biden when almost everyone in this country is on drugs, mentally ill, a drunk or a combination

There's a reason Egypt was able to build pyramids. Having an all-powerful leader can be extremely useful when they are competent. They're able to mobilize and focus a nation state's intent, but its fairly rare you get such a competent autocratic leader like Xi

I gotta Give Deng Xiaoping his flowers too. It’s unprecedented that a nation can create so much wealth in such a short period of time without turning into a free for all oligarchy where the wealthy just buy all political power.

They have their problems obviously, but damn, they seem to have cracked the code on keeping capital in check….Something that is badly needed here.
