X turned into something vile that made every woke person there cringe daily, but we felt there was no real option. Bluesky provided a real option. Why would any non-MAGA stay in that cesspool when there is a cleaner, nicer, friendlier, option being rapidly populated and so easy to join?

I used to think that way but had a pretty disappointing interaction here yesterday evening that reminded me to keep my head on a swivel. Bluesky isn’t nirvana. Don’t let your guard totally down and don’t assume others see value in who you are or what you have to say.

I just didn’t think asking a question in earnest earned me a spot on an immediate block list by a stranger unrelated to the conversation.
I didn’t realize I was a germ, too. I’m a nobody. But accidentally ask the wrong question and have the wrong person read it and you too can be nuclear blocked!
