Take that bait, y'all.

If this is a product of "that agenda" then it is white straights, not gay black men pushing it. Sounds c00nish? Well, why should gay brothers sympathize with black folks that, on the surface, reject them or view them as second rate? This is another bullshyt divide and conquer technique employed to keep straight brothers, the key force in creating more black people, psychologically oppressed.

In short, why you worried about another man's purse :dame:

If gays are out here making white money with black hands, that's a step towards a stronger economic base for black folks. No comment on the validity of this but I do wonder how many of the nikkas complaining are even seeking corporate jobs.:patrice:

Because gays are more sympathetic to the "issues" of dominant society than they are to those of the black community; the majority of them view themselves as gay first instead of black first. Moreover, they are less likely to even attempt to build within the black community than straight black men. Furthermore, many gay black men enter into interracial relationships/marriages with other men and, thus, do not create a black family unit. The result of those relationships tends to be a tacit and eventual separation from them black community and the allocation of funds/wealth/real estate to people outside of our community.

Before yall start the unnecessary bashing I fully believe gay blacks are more excepted than masculine heterosexual black men. I see it at my job all the time.

In the corporate world if you a black man with a hint of base in your voice combined w/ facial hair it's gonna be rough.

Fact is whites simply feel more comfortable around those types

A lot of that can be said for straight brothers as well, mane. And as far as identity goes, most lgbt people and folks in general, views themselves as a bunch of things before their race and sexuality (mother, ceo, teacher, etc.). And lastly, assuming you're right, what does them being hired have to do with you? Do you not see how this propaganda is one of many innumerable attempts to divide black people?

Homophobes will use this fluff piece (that they didn't even read) to justify their homophobia. The same way racist use video's of us acting badly to justify their racism. There are so many different factors that could be at play here.

They're also less "threatening" to employers than straight black men. Yet, some people don't want to acknowledge that. :noneofmybusinessthough:
I'm a very PC guy, but this is just one of those things that has always been true.

This is why I advocate getting jobs in careers in which its not easy to be replaced in.

Gay men usually still act like men though. Being gay doesn't give them any extra character traits that would lead to success. I'm sure most try to keep there personal lives out of their business. Being gay is not that accepted in reality.

So...what I really think is going is that Gay black men probably come from better homes, go to better schools, etc than straight black men. That is my assumption.

Its pretty easy to spot a gay or non-manly guy

bet you would never know that I'm gay upon seeing me in the street. I've even had other gay dudes straight up go like I didn't know you were that way. There's effeminate straight guys btw. You can't assume that someone is gay or straight by mannerisms or outward appearance.

1. The same can be said for plenty of straight brothers but the majority of them recognize that they're black first; there is no other social group that straight black men can align themselves with that permits them to deny that they're black before anything else.

2. The point I was making with gay black men is that far too many of them see themselves as gay first. Even though others do this too, gay blacks directly impact the black community adversely because many of them splinter movements to challenge white supremacy within the black community by diverting attention from white supremacy to gay rights; ironically, even if gay rights were granted, black gays would still receive disparate treatment because of their race.

3. Gay black men taking jobs away from straight black men affects the black community because it prevents straight black men from providing for themselves, dating and MARRYING black women, and creating black families for which they can create wealth and legacies.

Bullshyt. I'm going to guess they mean effeminate gay black men by that. Not all gay guys are effeminate you know.
This is also true - although in my personal observations, they do retain that socially adept nature, which is often deemed a feminine trait.

There's multiple factors at play, and I do agree with the assertion that straight black men tend to cut an intimidating presence in some cases - usually for reasons that have absolutely nothing to do with him strangely enough.
