Everyone should calm down. Russia has been forced to re-adjust.

THIS IS GOOD NEWS FOR AMERICA.

Now they're seeing that the USA is taking the outcomes seriously.

Moscow has been shaken.

I consider this a win for the moment.

You think a coordinated tickle fight shook Russia on US stance? I beg to differ....

So are you laughing at Obama's failure to act, or at Repubs failure to support?

I am legit confused cause in this thread you seem very pro-Repub/Trump, while in the Impeach thread you are leading the charge to oust Trump, so I truly don't know which side of the aisle you sit on and am curious.

This is the first significant action taken to push back against Moscow in 8 years.

Calling them up and telling them to clear out so we can sprinkle a some low impact missles on an air field, cause we gotta flex a little muscle to save face is hardly significant action. It was coordinated WITH Russia, who then told Assad, who cleared out most of the air field anyway.

Let's call this what it is....a pre-arranged political stunt, nothing more.

One thing though, is that will set the stage for a showdown the next inevitable regime massacre. I doubt he will budge though, if one thing Trump doesnt care about its consistency.

A nurse I work where is a captain in the Army Reserve.

She voted for Trump and was like:krs: when he won

Now she thinks she scared she may have to deploy. :mjlol: She said this weekend they have to make sure all their big equipment is ready to go :francis:.
It's like she forgot the meaning of OPSEC.:picard:

Listen to my stance and do not deviate from what I said:

1. I support this strike

2. I am not pro republican

3. I am not pro trump

4. I want trump gone

5. I'm laughing at the GOP's obstruction. Obama wanted to fix this back in 2012.

Also @McTwerk on a purely political level, while strategic cost is low for Russia, its not exactly a preferred political outcome. They'd surely rather no strike at all, symbolic or not. For one it creates the impression of regime weakness and that the air defenses can be circumvented. Its why theyre talking tough in their media response to the strikes. Russia also has its own domestic political considerations as does the regime.
