the period from 93-2000 Premier could do no wrong. I remember just fiending for anything primo, looking back group home wasn't saying a damn thing but those primo beats made the songs instant classics. I remember going to the school library during lunch to read about moment of truth, reading about the falling out with Jeru.

Man, these were good times.

93 was really when primo came into prominence. It all started with the krs boom bap album. Although he was very dope on gangtarr's daily operation album as well. Back then I would cop anything that primo was associated with. Including all city and d&d all stars. U are right. During that period he couldn't do wrong.

I remember reading before the album dropped gangstarr was doing a song with k-ci and Jojo. And I was thinking Why did that shyt turn out pure piff.

Moment of truth came out in March, 1998

fukk im old. I thought they came out very close together. Only reason I remember their mica was cuz I had both reviews ripped out the source, laminated and hanging on my wall when I was in college.

Kinda. Full clip went gold also, but it was a double album so it was counted twice. Back in 98, you or I could have gone gold the way people were actually buying music at the time.

Rebel INS had the best guest spot by far IMO.

I would not say by far. Foxx verse on The Militia was sick too. But ya, Deck had the best guest verse on the album.

yup he did...go back and listen to the verse..everyone had solid verses but krum really ripped it, easily one of the top feature appearances that I heard.....
