"betrayal", "jfk to lax", "you know my steez", title track are my favorite tracks

I like this album more for the lyricism than the production actually. No dis to Premo who came with his a-game as usual. A great album to listen to during the night time as well.

(he said the skit before JFK to LAX was actually a real call)

"yo premier" "yo whasup G" "that trip to LA may be delayed" "why whasup im on the way to the airport right now" "yea well ya boy guru got knocked" "WHAT" "i dont know what this is about sounds crazy man...something about a gun"
thats crazy if that was real, JFK 2 LAX is also one of the best gangstarr songs

Amazing album. Guru was facing time for some gun shlt and was maaaddd introspective on this. You could tell he was going through it. I don't rate Guru too high, but this album just came together in a certain way, where with the previous ones it was just certain songs.

Definitely defines a period for me. Even "The Mall.":manny: :lawd:

Although, Guru was probably copping some wack shlt at the mall, cus his fashion sense was :dwillhuh::heh:

RiP though. And fukk Solar for pimping him and letting him grow an afro and long a55 toenails on his deathbed. That was the weirdest, saddest shlt to happen in a while at the time.:mindblown::sadbron::mindblown::sadbron:

Militia is one of the few songs where I didn't like it a first but then when I saw the video I was like :krs:

What I'm here for is one of my favs....

Above the clouds if my personal favorite though....there was a time in my life when I went through some ish....hearing voices and seeing stuff and this song broke down what I was going through perfectly...
