MLB is a clear outlier as most of it's money comes from PS and MLB actually distributes it on Gamepass getting their check directly from Microsoft with Sony getting royalties.
Your position on using MLB would make more sense if it was on PS Extra day 1.
Again, if MS is willing to cut the check cover a game's budget to put it on Gamepass, cool.
