Fam, if you want day one games. You have to pay damn near $250 a year. That's the whole thing gamepass was built on. Day one games on gamepass.

This isn't a good situation unless those subs jump, and the price hike isn't going to help with that. This isn't a good place to be right before you drop the biggest game ever on the platform.

Most CoD players are 1 game players. They don't play anything but CoD. Why the hell are they going to spend 250 to play it for the year.

It's at the point where they are going to extract more from existing subs. They're not forecasting growth in the near term

Call of duty isn't a 2 month game. Same way NBA2k isn't a 2 month game. Folks play those games all year till the next one comes out.

Most people playing the same game for the whole year doesn't care that they get Doom or Persona with the subscription.

They not even getting day one games on any of the tiers but the most expensive one now. They are effectively admitting sony was right and thats it’s not sustainable. They got lower tiers nerfed to support the highest and the highest is now subsidizing pc players.

Unless you pay 240 dollars a year you’re getting a worse service than ps plus premium, which already gets all the same games as gamepass
