Wtf u talkin bout? Ya Bish
I couldn’t get over the stupidity of grown rhaenyra (or however u spell it). The whole shyt with the side nicca was just too dumb for words.
You guys are in the minority on that. You can be right and your delivery can make you unlikeable. She comes off as a stuck up a$$hole. Asking her a mother just out of birth to bring her baby to you immediately? There’s nothing righteous in that. We’ve seen it a million times. The charismatic a$$hole versus the person who is right but is so holier than thou it’s off-putting. And you’re capping big time by claiming that Alicent was ever trying to talk sense into Rhaenyra about her messiness. Rhaenyra lied to her because she is dutiful and follows the rules to a fault. If she was honest with her she would’ve told the king that Rhaenyra has admitted it and suddenly she’s no longer the heir. You really don’t think people don’t empathize with Rhaenyra having side pieces like all the kings and men got to do? Her only messiness was never having a kid with Laenor (dumbest move in the show) and being out in the open with Daemon. The latter was over one night as a teenager. Alicent is a boring character and Carrie’s herself as a pompous a$$hole - and I get why, she had to smash that decrepit old man her entire adult life and is maneuvering for her future but it doesn’t make her anymore endearing on-screen. She only gets to move like that because the King is soft - no different than Rhaenyra. All this shyt is because he’s soft. If he ever reeled in Daemon he would’ve never had to name his daughter heir and then when his son was born he would’ve been the heir with no controversy.I honestly don’t even see what’s so unlikeable about her. As a kid, her “holier than thou” shtick seemed thin or naive, but now it’s clear she’s not only right on some turn my nose up on you shyt, but she realizes how high the stakes are here. Pretty much every show that deals with royalty touches upon how these people often find themselves forced to do something they don’t want to do as a result of the great position their birthright put them in. Alicent has been walking that walk bedding that decrepit old man for over a decade. Meanwhile Rhaenyra’s selfish ass can’t keep her messiness confined to her chambers. That messiness actually helps Alicent’s claim for her son to ascend the throne, yet she’s still trying to talk sense into Rhaenyra. Alicent looking like the closest thing to a genuine human being in rat infested shyt hole, so nah, I really don’t see what’s so unlikeable about her.
How do you know she’s the one who doesn’t want to fukk? He seems like he’s repulsed by vaginas.I’m definitely team Alicent. Her kids have the rightful claim to the throne now.
Rhaenyra’s entitled ass fukked up big time. She refuses to do her duty as a queen and wife. I mean she had an understanding with her husband, all she had to do is fukk him to make true born Targs. She’s her own worst enemy.
You get it! She is behaving like a true Targaryen woman! That throne is her birthright. Alicent followed the rules because she wasn’t born to a king. Her dad put her in position to be his wife. It’s different when you’re actually his child/heir.Why you hate the girl so much breh it’s weird
She’s acting pretty much like Dany would act if she was born 200 years earlier, had been raised in King’s Landing, was taught since birth how to rule and never lost her connection to her Valyrian heritage. I appreciated watching her in the early episodes not just because her actress was charismatic but also because it showed this was what it was supposed to be like for Targ royalty. She stands up for herself (see her scene standing up for Alicent), she calls people on their bullshyt (see her scenes with Daemon), and she sons muthafukkas without hesitation (Jason Lannister, Criston Cole) The only dumb thing Rhaenyra did so far was having Harwin’s kids instead of finding a way for Laenor to impregnate her. But either way, her children are no less Targ than Alicent’s. They’re both half and half, one being half Hightower and the other half Strong. While I like Alicent, objectively speaking, she IS trying to steal Rhaenyra’s birthright. She and Otto had no reason for marrying an old ass king besides trying to put their family on the throne breh. Viserys prefers Rhaenyra over Alicent because he feels guilty for killing her mother and with that in mind, I can’t root for Rhaenyra’s demise when she didn’t really do anything wrong except be born a woman and marry a gay muthafukka. Those b*stards are really the only mistake she made and since Laenor is white in the books, it’s less obvious. Lastly, I’ve read the books breh so I’m the wrong person to ask this question…y’all will accuse me of spoiling.
That’s not snitching. You’re being a fukking a$$hole. Go do that shyt in the book thread. You can ignore it and me tbh cuz if thats spoiling well fukk it. With yo snitch ass i didn't ask for your tip
Nah breh, if you getting a hand me down that’s the one you want. Her dragon is one of the ones that came over when Aegon conquered the 7 kingdoms. Only Aegon’s dragon was bigger. Her dragon is 2nd only to Balerion the black dread. That’s why she told her daughter it was okay to have a dragon that was flown by someone else. Why did the black woman have to have the hand me down dragon with the holes in the wings?
Rhaenyra is flexing. Alicent is offended because Rhae is basically telling her "no matter what I do, who I do or who's daddy you fukk, I'm still gonna be Queen". Alicent and the other women in Westeros were groomed to play the game by it's "rules" and Rhae was raised to have no respect for the games "rules". They resent her for being allowed freedom that only the men had access to.I couldn’t get over the stupidity of grown rhaenyra (or however u spell it). Yup. I’m all for her moving like the men but at least have the kids. That was reckless.Rhaenyra is flexing. That’s the thing- Alicent is playing the game a woman’s way- secrecy, gossiping, etc. Rhae is more forceful, in your face- in a sense, masculine. And that’s what is really turning people off. People accept brashness from men- like Daemon. People don’t like it when women operate from that same place/type of attitude and power. Basically, Rhae doesn’t “know her place”.That's the crazy part. For all her anger and posturing, she easily gets outplayed by two people from the same damn house.
First Lyonel outdoes what we're to believe is a decade of shyt talking and accusations about Rhaenyra and Harwin by tendering a resignation that it seems like he knew Viserys wasn't going to take. And then she apparently didn't see the long con coming from Larys.
What's interesting is that for all of Alicent's talk of honor and shytting on Rhaenyra for fukking around, she's basically doing the same shyt in a non-physical manner. Her relationship (for lack of a better word) with Larys would absolutely be seen as improper or borderline treasonous, considering that they were dining in secret, and plotting against the king's chosen heir in a fashion that goes against the king's wishes. shyt, I'd even have questions about if her and Cole were entirely platonic over the last decade.
Everybody on this show is a sack of shyt in one way or another.
She's very reckless but she has her father's full support which Otto Hightower wasn't counting on. He was so focused on Daemon that he underestimated the Kings stubbornness.Yup. I’m all for her moving like the men but at least have the kids. That was reckless.
