I do wonder if it turned out that way would Allicent still be plotting and would Rhae try to do the same. It's more than possible for all of them to be unlikable/spoiled/entitled/selfish people. Just like in real life. The only character worth anything is Lyonel Strong, and even he still produced Harwin and Larys and didn't see them for what they were.

That’s the thing- Alicent is playing the game a woman’s way- secrecy, gossiping, etc. Rhae is more forceful, in your face- in a sense, masculine. And that’s what is really turning people off. People accept brashness from men- like Daemon. People don’t like it when women operate from that same place/type of attitude and power. Basically, Rhae doesn’t “know her place”.
When all she’s knows is what she was taught by her father: her place is on the throne. So whatever she does is of no consequence as long as she lives to sit on the throne.

What man in the GOT world had b*stards with the intent of passing them off as a true born heir?

Even when Roose gave @RamsayBolton the reigns, it was almost grudgingly because he didn't have another child (not for lack of trying). So he got his b*stard legitimized. But even a legitimized Ramsey was in trouble the moment Roose got a true born son.

This has never happened in westerosi history where somebody had b*stards and passed them off as the true heir.

It was just the opposite. The true heir to the Iron Throne was passed off as a b*stard. Rhae is disgusting
