Yep, Tywin low key couldn't stand Jamie OR Tyrion, since they both ensured he wouldn't have a true respected heir.

Just watched, I will say that all of this is Viserys and to some extent Corlys fault.

Viserys cuz he’s been playing blind while his daughter is birthing b*stards. Corlys because he thought it was a good idea to wed his gay son to Rhaenyra. Also Corlys is a bad father because he ain’t tell his son to at least nut in his wife from time to time to bring him a true heir.

Corlys did all this posturing to have a Velaryon on the throne only to end up with three grandsons that ain’t of his blood. How is he not pissed as well? And why did he let his daughter wed Daemon?!? He knows Daemon well and that he’s a terrible husband. Maybe it was a pure Valyrian blood play…

Lastly, this show got the worst kept secrets. Everyone knows that Harwin’s child and everyone knows who Laenor’s gay lovers are.

Everyone knows Rhae and Lae would have their own lovers, but they were supposed to actually consummate the marriage and have children together to solidify the claim to the throne.

The reason no one outrightly questioned Cersei was because the king was definitely hetero and sleeping with his wife, so HE claimed those children even though they were blonde.
Rhaenyra’s kids all have brown hair when that would be impossible for a true Targ/Velaryon mix, and everyone knows Laenor is gay, so putting two and two together, it’s too obvious he isn’t the father.
I still rock with Rhae (because I personally appreciate a rebellious woman lol), but this is why I can’t be mad at Alicent. Rhae has had multiple opportunities to get it right and she bucks the trend at every turn. She’s asking for a fight.

It’s like the King and Corlys just married their kids off and let them run wild. They were supposed to make sure they actually fulfilled their duty to avoid all this BS.
Then her offer to marry her son and Alicent’s daughter would’ve probably been accepted.

That and Cersei also told Jaime to keep his distance and not dote in the kids and he was happy with that meanwhile Harwin was visiting their chambers and being the crazy little league dad smh

You’re completely ignoring that Dany had to forge her own path to grow into that ruler role. When the show opens, Dany is an obedient little sister washing her vag in boiling hot water to get clean enough for a savage. She did her duty with Drogo, not cuz she wanted to. And when Drogo died she didn’t let anyone else hit until Dario, who woo’d her. Dario had that legendary mouthpiece. Ser Cristian Cole was just a warm body Rhaenyra commanded to sleep with her…she basically raped that man.
