Crazy how GAAS games have an expiration date. I still bust out shining force every few years if im bored and need something to play on my phone when i'm traveling somewhere. Game actually used to be in the app store but last time i had to torrent it.

I mean most game have an expiration date. In fact the majority of old games folks are playing are via emulation.

Why? Because they stopped making the game and the OG consoles and the warranty periods are over.

It'll definitely change. It's like the streaming game, there's only so much time and so many subs you're going to keep up with.

That said, these companies have gathered so much data from their seasonal models they know what does and doesn't work and what should work going forward.

Expect just a much more targeted type of mtx garnering behavior from publishers in the future.
