that's why so far they've used medical basis' because other people are too emotional attached and religiously influenced to be unbiased when it comes to fundamental individual rights that need to be protected. I dont think any law makers are "nonchanlant" about it, but they realize they gotta do what they gotta do to uphold certain important rights this country was built upon, which include letting people do what they want with their own body without government interference

nah that wasn't what the decision was based on lol. the court balanced the persons right to privacy over their own body versus the governments interest in protecting lives. they limited the states interest in protecting lives to the point where there is medically "life" which medicine says is not exactly the moment a heartbeat is detected....it takes longer than that to be considered a viable 'life". and by law religion can not be a factor in any lawmaking decisions....because of freedom of religion laws. consitutional legal shyt can be difficult to understand so yeah we can agree to disagree
also, if emotions were given so much weight, we might still be legal slaves in this country. fukk all that emotional shyt. let's just use fact based reasoning lol
