GA Governor signs bill to ban abortions if a heartbeat can be detected

Yea, let's old white guys tell what a female what to do with their bodies.

While the bill exempts at-risk female pregnancy, I can't judge what a woman does with her body.

All rational human beings can agree life is linked by a heartbeat...

roe v wade got into the medical part of it and that is how that timeline was decided. a fetus with just a heartbeat is not considered a "viable" life ...it still cant "live" without further growth and the support of the womans body (similar to a grown person on medically assisted life support where ironically a next of kin can terminate life support at any time and nobody really gives af). so they balanced the right of a woman to decide what to use her body for by drawing the line at the point where it was a actual life that could survive without the womans body. once the fetus reached that stage where it could survive on its own, they limited abortions to the rape/incest, health of mother issues.

The issue is you can often times hear a heart beat by 6 weeks.

Many women don't even know they are pregnant at 6 weeks.

So therefore, the argument is that this violates roe V Wade. you essentially cannot have an abortion.

4 weeks

So if you

miss your period

You should

Immediately take a pregnancy test. Then make up your mind real fast.

I can feel the excuses now. But the person you're plotting to kill... your own child... that YOU slipped up and made by "accident" deserves the utmost respect.
