FX's Donald Glover Sitcom "Atlanta" Season 1 thread

FX does role like that.
They cancelled critically acclaimed Theif and Terriers which had mediocre ratings.
Its hard to tell what they will let role and what they will kill.

Never heard of those but I peeped the metacritic scores and they were low 70s. That's not acclaimed in my book.

I'm talking like Fargo, The Americans, People vs OJ levels of acclaim. Fargo and The Americans don't have crazy ratings but the critics and those that do watch love it

The Americans didn't even get any Emmy nominations until about a month ago and it's in it's 4th season and recently got renewed for 2 more. This show will be fine. It's 90 on metacritic.

Gonna be with this
1st episode was kind of meh but the 2nd one was fiyah. nikkas going hype this shyt up so much the expectations going be crazy for every episode.
I remember first time I saw jerod carmicheal show shyt seemed authentic black and fiyah but got corny real QUICK as the episodes piled up. Hope glover can be more consistent
One good thing bout the hype is the viewer numbers gon be crazy and get it a second season probably
