I think he walks around dolo because he hasn’t bought into the idea of him being a celebrity. He hasn’t really reaped any benefits from his celebrity status ( that he seems concerned with anyway) such as money or an elevation in his living conditions, etc., so maybe it’s hard for him to see himself as someone who’s no longer able to move about how he use to.

trying to save a few bucks and not booking a hotel is not in the category of "just learning"

all that shyt that happened, stemmed from some shyt that earn did.

part of managing an artist is to actually MANAGE. if tracy not coming, tracy not coming. there is no conversation. but when you start doing side shyt with the hotels, then you open up the floor for debate and conversation.

if earn wanted al to sign some papers, well you know the papers need to get signed. if not, then business will come to a halt.

Exactly.

Ain’t NOBODY got time for “learning on the job” when REAL money is on the line. Earn has handled his position as Manager ALL wrong and deserves what happened entirely.

Hopefully this will be a wakeup call for his character because you only get but so many fukkups as a young black man before everybody simply gives up on you.

they don't live in the hood anymore

the crib that paper boi was in in the first season doesn't look like the crib that he was picked up in during last week's episode

there are subtle differences done throughout the year that let you know he's getting money

Earn is a nikka who, instead of booking a hotel, would rather have his marquee client spending the night in a crazy college girl’s apartment.

Looking at all of this, would YOU want that type of nikka as a manager:usure:


That ass whooping he got was a wake up call. “nikka you aren’t special. You gotta WORK just like everybody else.” Earn ain’t been putting in no real work.

His “business” decisions are all shyt as well. This dude made a 5k deal with a club promoter and didn’t secure any contract? Didn’t get half up front? Had to spend the entire night chasing the owner is only to get $750 and have Alfred put himself in a situation where he had to literally BEAT the money out of the guy.

Don't forget the payola for the radio slot:krs:, earn was no where near ready to be a manager for a established artist but in his defense paperboi didn't want to embrace (the fame/corporate side) of it, and take it seriously. Now that he is, he has no tolerance for earn's fukk ups.


But yeah, earn is a smart/dumb dude that just seems to (like) making things hard on himself. He's turning into "alligator man" and don'tevenknowit.
