Everywhere...You never there.
It's how many coli posters are :cape: for Traci when not one of you dudes would want him as a coworker much less working for you.

Nah he easily coulda caught a felony level aggravated assault or even an involuntary manslaghter charge at the LEAST when he mushed ol girl down the steps ... he’s still in prison mode ... some dudes never get out of it ... and people bewildered by how Tracy could just name himself security ... nicca it’s called extortion .... happens to your favorite rappers often ... Childish droppin all types of gems in this shyt :wow:

This isn’t a Childish Gambino origin story. Earn will NEVER become a rapper and all the “connects” he has are borderline bullshyt.

Earn has really only ever been shown to make legitimate business connections TWICE in the entire series.

Once in season 1 when they went to the charity basketball game and the white lady finessed him into the upstairs party. He was taking cards from people who worked with commercials and marketing.

Once in season 2 when he got Paperboi on that streaming service.

Earn is a nikka who let someone like Traci finesse him out of FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS

Earn is a nikka who instead of saving his money and getting an apartment wants to spend a night out “stunting” on people.

Earn is a nikka who, instead of booking a hotel, would rather have his marquee client spending the night in a crazy college girl’s apartment.

Looking at all of this, would YOU want that type of nikka as a manager:usure:

That ass whooping he got was a wake up call. “nikka you aren’t special. You gotta WORK just like everybody else.” Earn ain’t been putting in no real work.

His “business” decisions are all shyt as well. This dude made a 5k deal with a club promoter and didn’t secure any contract? Didn’t get half up front? Had to spend the entire night chasing the owner is only to get $750 and have Alfred put himself in a situation where he had to literally BEAT the money out of the guy.
Great analysis. So many regular nikkas out there, trying to make it in the music business who are just like Earn. Want the final product, without any inconvenience on their end. This episode was the best of this season.

Earn is definitely at fault, but Tracy made a bad situation worse. I'm wondering why some of you don't seem to notice that.

Tracy fukked Earn up though.:picard::damn:
People don't understand the difference between getting in trouble and putting yourself in a position to get in trouble. Can't really get mad a Tracy for being Tracy

As a manager, Earn should have thought this out beforehand. As other posters stated, he should have gotten a hotel. When they pulled up into that dingy apartment complex, his immediate reaction should have been "Ok, fellas. Let get a room". Heck, when they entered that little ass apartment, he should have pulled a 180 and bounced.

Earn got smarts, but he isn't very calculating. He makes bad decisions and gets mad at the world when it backfires. He's been like this his entire adult life it seems. That's why his parents kicked him out in the first episode.

Earn is a shytty manager, dude is not cut out for it.

Tracy makes bad situations worse, but Earn is the genesis of the trouble and should know better,

no one mentioned that the ONLY TIME Earn showed true grit, fight, and passion is when he lost HIS LAPTOP? I can see PB mentioning that in the next few episodes (not the flashback one coming this week). He's passive about PB's career but he was on TEN when it came to getting his laptop.

Da city where the skinny nikkas die
Also Al and Paper Boi clearly have different ideas about the direction his career arc should take. It's a story line that I think Glover and the writer's are clearly trying to illustrate to younger viewers.

Al is trying to get PB to take the college tour route like wale, big sean, j cole etc. That's the complex, internet blog, Clark County route.

However PB shuns that crowd and those appearances. Ok then, what happened last season? You had to deal with janky promoters, shoot outs, and the cops.

Al said this was the first time he's seen PB smile in awhile. Did dude even realize he had a black college crowd? <-- gem they're trying to drop

I also think Al pocketing the hotel fee was a fukk up. I think the lesson they were trying to convey for up and comers is to not cut corners. Booking a show and traveling is business first. It's not only about fukking groupies and having a good time. Shacking up with some chick on a college campus is such a freshman year homecoming move. Every show you book presents that opportunity. Both of them need to stop thinking with their dikks and focus on the business aspect. Is this a hobby or a career?

creh I'm confused... are you insinuating that Paperboi has some bipolar shyt going on with a battle of two halves (Al/PB) or are you just mixing up Al with Earn?
