It’s coming bruh just think about how many times guns have been aimed at them or they’ve seen someone get shot, they can’t keep getting lucky

Donald did mention he based Paperboi off of Pre-Jail Gucci and Doe B. We know what happened in both those instances. Let hope it doesn’t go in that direction for Al. Although the golden gun may make a return in the season finale.

I still feel that was Earn who shot dude in the pilot episode and it’s gonna happen again with him looking out for Al and shooting someone. These last three episodes are gonna really be the bridge between both seasons

they don't live in the hood anymore

the crib that paper boi was in in the first season doesn't look like the crib that he was picked up in during last week's episode

there are subtle differences done throughout the year that let you know he's getting money

They don’t live in the hood anymore but there hasn’t been a significant change in his living conditions. And if I recall correctly, hasn’t he complained about not making any money this season?

Hold the fukk up this nikka Earn raped someone? Is that what the line of dialong from Tracy referring to needing to watch out for Earns temper being something Al has to look out for? And why would Dinald Glover make the main character of his show have such a dark background?

It was IMPLIED that in the original pilot episode script that Earn might have been accused of rape or something inappropriate to the effect of. Its just a theory at this point because the Script didn’t go into detail.

Earn hasn’t told anybody what happened at Princeton so Traci was just joshing.

Asking why would Donald Glover make his character have such a dark background is like asking why Issa Rae made her character in Insecure a cheating, lying, a$$hole. Or why Spike Lee made Mookie in Do The Right Thing a deadbeat dad. Its because these aren’t perfect people and the thesis of the show is to highlight the complexities of black life.
