The theme of the episode was that people are so hung up on their social media personas that they neglect the reality of their true lives.

Van is sad because of her breakup with Earn. To “get back” at him and feel better she wanted to stunt on instagram by taking a pic with Drake. She didn’t even want to fukk him, she just wanted a picture. To that end she left her daughter behind (which represents real life)
We already know people are brainwashed by social media. We already know 90% of people are fake as hell. We got a bunch of threads on here saying the same shyt. And they've made this point on the show plenty of times already. Usually when this show drives home a point they do it in a creative way. But there was really nothing creative or thought provoking about this episode at all. That's why it was filler. It gave us nothing that we didn't already know. Van and earn love each other and they're both petty as hell. We know that. I mean it was cool....it started off strong but it ended up going nowhere. They gotta accept that van just isn't interesting enough to carry a whole episode. Watching her wander around a house trying on drakes jackets and posing in the mirror is not good television. :yeshrug:
