I want him out of the indys ASAP. Hunter needs to make the call or someone in CMLL or New Japan better throw him a 1 year contract

Paul gonna have to give him an exemption

It's just that every new match of him that I watch he's picking up mora and more annoying indy tendencies :francis: he's too good for that bullshyt. Go smoke weed to Mexico at least :damn:

:heh: Why? He's doing well. Once he goes to New Japan he'll be able to fine tune his skills even more.

Such as?

Because I'm afraid he might end up becoming the next Davey Richards or KOR when he has potential to be incredibly good. In Mexico or Japan he could actually learn stuff that would make him better, in the indies not so much. He's doing awesome in his career so far, I'm not denying that.

Such as a bunch of moves and nearfalls that mean jackshyt and really bad use of "fighting spirit". He's amazing at working a body part, working holds and has dope intensity but more and more his matches are focused on the last 5-8 minutes of bomb throwing and false finishes.

I know fans love that style, I'm not one of them :manny:

Didn't think of it like that. :leon:

Agreed. I'm tired of seemingly every US wrestling company adopting the same exact style.

That goes back to having a lack of guys who know how wrestling psychology works. The late 80/early 90's guys are the last ones who have a properly grasp of psychology but they aren't working extensive programmes with guys or like in Vader's case vs Ospreay, wanting to go over still at his age and state, which doesn't make sense. People like Orton and Rip Rogers can have a moan and take the piss, but of these US Indy guys aren't being taught in matches , how they suppose to learn. You can only teach so much in training/practice, when you'll only learn with on the job training. Even someone like Hoegan said it took him about 8 years working with Andre to finally get it.

Those types of matches happen in Japan as well.

WWE wouldn't let NJPW or CMLL sign him. He's essentially signed to the WWE already. First industry plant in the history of wrestling.

They do happen in Japan but I guy with Riddle's ability would be taught how to use his strengths in a better way than what he's doing in the indies.

You are 100% right on your second point though :mjcry:

Matt Riddle is proof that it's better to train and work the indies than go to the performance centre.

"After his brutal match with Ishii tonight, I saw Riddle in serious conversation with Tiger Hattori. NJPW on the horizon?"
