Triple H:
Is Rhea fukking going over?
10 for the reference and 10 for the reality of it.
That isn't close to the reason for this thread.

I really give HHH credit/blame for booking over the last three years. But, ppl get pissy if Vince was anywhere near the WWE and you mention HHH.

HHH was a better booker before Vince was 100% gone.

He deserved praise for 2023 to Wrestlemania 41.

Vince was the reason I stopped watching from like 2003 to 2022.
You really picked a bad timespan to stop watching. 2003 was the peak era of Smackdown, and you missed the great build up to the Bloodline that started in 2020. Also you can't give HHH praise for the 2023 stuff if you won't give him any blame for it as well. Leaving Becky vs Trish off of a major PLE and then ending the feud at a C list PLE is stupidity personified. The reason why HHH was a better booker when Vince was around, is because he had someone to challenge his dumb ideas. The invincible booking of Rhea and irresponsible booking of all the black talent on the main roster is enough to grade him at a D-.

Bro, the Invasion was rough. And I was starting high school and I was starting to be my only friend that watched WWF.

Obviously I remember WM17--recorded the My Way promo on VCR.

Then the Two Man Power Trip.

But, The Rock was leaving, then Stone Cold was falling back. I remember at first loving Rob Van Dam, but, it was too many random mfs and not enough Stone Cold for me.

And then they both left. I was done and nothing really pulled me back in despite always buying the 2k games.

I was a huge WWF fan--my Dad found my stash of WWF Divas pictures I printed off the internet and put in a three ring binder in my closet

:lolbron:

I vaguely remember John Cena before he started rapping. I must've tuned in a couple more times. I'm checking cagematch.com and they mf really had 30 tv matches in 2002...damn.

Even though I was not trying to bring up Vince.

He must've been on his A game. while Vince was around when he came back that last time after the fake retirement.

Yes, the Cody v. Brock thing was stupid at RAW.

But, Brock put Cody over huge.

Cody after WM40 in the "Paul Laveck Era" and no Vince = feuding with Logan Paula & AJ Styles (banger match, btw) for a month AND RIGHT BACK TO THE BLOODLINE storyline and this weird "long term storytelling" giving Kevin a forced title shot then Kevin whooping his ass and putting him in front of the Saudis again for a fake title.

The Invasion angle looks like the 80s Golden Era compared to the awful PG Era(fukk Benoit forever), but every year until late 09 had some good stuff. HHH' reign of terror in 03 single handedly made RAW lose to Smackdown in the ratings, and Hollywood Rock was the only thing saving that show. As for the diva stuff me & my friends would print out pics at the library, but I guess they found out because they wound up putting the printer behind the counter.:russ:

Remember they've officially called it the "Renaissance Era", which is full on :mjpls: when you look up the history of that era. A lot of stuff happening in the WWE right now is corny, and that's because HHH is not a cool person he just hung out with people who were cool. The OG Bloodline was badass and had an aura, now HHH has Roman needing Cody, Sami, and Seth to help him...:francis:
