Cali nikkas used to ride Crager true spoke before Daytons. Even when Daytons were popular, zenith wheels were just as in demand.
dikkie suits are a post WW2 warehouse outfit. My family is a product of the Central ave corridor. Ben Davis and dikkies have been worn in cali since the late 40's.

George Clinton is not one of the originators of Funk, it wasn't until his band the Parliament met with acts like Sly Stone that they changed their style from DuWop to Funk themed songs. Jimi Hendrix also influenced George Clinton on the P Funk tip.A lot of innovation of their band came about when they went to Detroit.

OP is right funk/G funk hip hop culture and slang has alot of Ohio roots. Remember snoops more bounce to the ounce well he got it from Zapp and Rogers a 70s funk band.
