khan gave canelo some problems early for the same exact reason I said he would give floyd problems early. speed and length. I always said khan would be a harder matchup for floyd than pacquiao. it's all about matchups. once floyd figured him out though it would be a wrap just like it was for canelo. canelo got the timing down, got within distance and started taggin him with ease. canelo set up the final blow all fight. you could feel the tension building.

it's very obvious they don't feel confident little g can win at 155. he's sparred canelo. he knows how hard he hits. and in the back of his mind he knows canelo was only 19 at that time and he's a different animal now. he feels with pac and floyd even if he loses a little power they still wouldn't be able to hurt him and he can just overwhelm them. not with canelo. in other words...this guy is only willing to come down for welterweights but not jr middleweights.
look at abel sanchez last year talking about a cotto catchweight
he says they wouldn't do it. but in the next sentence he says we gotta sit down and discuss it. and sometimes you gotta make concessions
.....so already you see SOME leeway there when it came to cotto. with canelo it's no way in hell. now here's loeffler 2 years ago....BEFORE canelo even had the belt...

Don't agree with none of this. GGG is a VERY underrated boxer. All of his punches are short and compact, he puts his punches together nicely and he as A+ power in both hands. His main deficiencies are speed and defense but honestly we haven't really seen him tested like that. He evens lets ppl punch him sometimes to open them up cause shyt be so easy for him so maybe if he was in trouble we'd see more defensive acumen. who knows
We just saw Canelo get his head boxed off AGAIN, so GGG ain't going have naan problem finding him.
You say GGG let's people hit him to open them up but don't give the same excuse for canelo.
I like GGG, but last fight he was getting tagged by a guy with no business in the ring and had GGG looking out of shape in his corner.

A) 160 - Strict Re-hydration Clause
or
B) 155 - No Re-hydration Clause
I don't really know much about weight-cutting or the nutritional aspects....My gut would tell me that I just don't want the cat to be huge the night of the fight (So, option A), but I know there are a lot of nutritional and training aspects with option B that I'm not even considering.

Oh I agree, I think you got me confused.The option was that, at 155, they can rehydrate to whatever "No rehydration clause" as opposed to "No-Rehydration Clause". I guess that's worded kind of awkwardly.
