Nah not your whole head just the donor area.If you have dreads or braids(I'm sure females get it done as well.)
do they still require you to shave your whole head during the fue process?

ungratefulI'm not bald but I wish the follicles in the back grew as fast as the front and sides of my head.
@Cacdestroyer do you have to take fin?
Nope the doctors never recommended it, I even enquired if there was any risk of the recepient area hairs falling out in the future and they said no. The donor area hair isn’t affected by DHT so the hair is essentially for life. If you are early 20’s and have the treatment you might need to take fin as you clearly haven’t reached the final stages of baldness/receding. What I would recommend is to ask the surgeon a thousand questions during the consultation. Don’t be scared to ask the same questions until you clearly understand things. When you go for a consultation also ask if they are specialist in Afro texture hair. Must surgeons will take the job despite not knowing fukk all about how to apply Afro texture hair properly and placing our hairline.
so close yet so far awayWhat if those surgeons lie just to get you into the chair to do your hair?
Anyway, how much you think it’ll be just to lower your line like half an inch?
I just want a lower line and to not take those pills.
"just a lil bit more, then im done" :jbsideburns:so close yet so far away

How old are you Breh? And were you still losing hair or was it pretty stable nefoy you got surgery?
Pretty soon in the future they gonna let brehs finance their hairlinesDamn. $11k tho I ain’t got it like that.
31 and it was stable at that point, couldn’t possibly see it getting worse.
Well people were asking, I am just trying to reassure the brehs who are on the fence.
Went back to work after a week, I was told to take a month of the gym which in truth has been the hardest part of all this.
Aside from the 11k that you had to pay, how often do you have to go back for a routine follow up?
