Side effects?
Similar to Fin.

However some people get sides on Fin but none on Dut, despite it being stronger.

It’s a weird one.

One thing to note and be wary off, the half life of Dut is much longer than Fin.

So if you get sides to the point where you feel you have to stop, the sides may not go away quickly compared to fin.
Could be several months

He is a star so most likely they took extra care.
Whatout the average Joe? Who knows what the conditions are in these hospitals in Turkey.
Outside of hiring a great doctor which he definitely has advantage of, there isn't much advantage in after care. Fin is the secret for everybody after. If I ever go that route, taking Fin is definitely what I am worried about the most lol.

Might try dutasteride in the new year.
Thinking Fin might not be enough in two minds and that my shed that I got when I switched to oral min.

Was actually down to DHT.
I was thinking of switching too. Not sure.

Dutasteride is a serious drug. I do not believe the risk profile is worthwhile.

Now, if you're still losing hair or your hair is miniaturizing on finasteride while:

Being consistent with dermastamping, nizoral and minoxidil (topical or oral) and you do daily hair massages.

Then totally go for Dut. But even with a hair transplant I just don't see staying on Dutasteride for 10-15 years (until you're mid-late 40s and don't give a fukk) as viable without knowing that you will likely have permanent side effects.

Like if you're unsure about the effect finasteride has on your body, you need to believe dutasteride is about that risk profile plus more.

With that being said, I did hear some guys had regrowth with dutasteride after the initial shed.

I mean the side effect profile is similar to Fin.
Just the downside is it takes longer to clear out your system if you decide to stop due to the half life.

However I do agree with you about being sure about the effects.

Dut is definitely a nuclear option, not necessarily something I’d recommend people jump into first without trying fin.

Just that my hairline thinned out 2 years ago again after getting regrowth and I thought it was due to changing meds.

But it’s not returned so I’m wondering If Dut might get me back in the game, and give me density back in the crown and frontal region

I’m in 2 minds been flip flopping about starting for months

I haven’t had any sides on fin and my hair loss has stabilized. What do you think of 5mg of minoxidil instead of 2.5mg?

Then you're a decent candidate to try dutasteride and see if there's any regrowth.

2.5mg is tried and true. I doubt you would see significant regrowth or density on double the dose, but you are at greater risk of low level cardiac events. Again, see what works or doesn't work. Read the literature on the dosages on pubmed etc.

But I would as a rule of thumb say that if you are not regularly using Nizoral, and if you're not derma-needling 1-2x times a week, you should not be thinking about upping the dosages or using stronger drugs.
There's no point in unnecessarily raising the risk profile when there are other proven (more or less) interventions that you are not using.

I hope that helps.
