I know this thread is directed to @marcuz because of his strong views on biracials. There's also another poster (forgot his name) that has a biracial parent & a Black parent that wanted to exclude biracials from being called Black as well. He basically said if you're more than 1/4 white, you can't be counted as Black. I think it's a fair question because FD came from a mixed background (slave master rape of course) & the one drop rule was in full effect back then.

I think @Ghost Utmost and @CinnaSlim did the best job at explaining the point i was about to make.

In most countries, mulattoes are mulattoes, period. Simple as that. If you are born to a white father and black mother you are not BLACK nor WHITE. Think i had addressed it in the other thread in this post http://www.thecoli.com/posts/11996396/

And it's ironic that Blacks in America have made more progress with their rights compared to their south american counterparts due to the fact that American culture didn't try to divide mixed people and those who had more african descent. By doing that the collective power of blacks was greater than if there was some sort of racial divide over dark skinned vs light skinned.

It has everything to do with this subject. If half white people are not black but they can produce offspring that ARE black (cause the baby is up to 75% now) what does it even mean to say the half white person wasn't black?
