Alchemist 90's too. Him, Madlib, and Nottz are the 3 form the 90's that have consistently dropped the most fire without slipping or having periods of inactivity IMO.

Preem definitely hasn't had anything quote like this in a long time though you're right.

Agreed. I liked Premo's beat on Drake's album last year but overall he hasn't truly wowed me or done anything great in years. The longevity of Alchemist has been stunning. In terms of Madlib...there was definitely a period of time after Dilla's death where his stuff just felt uninspired and too loop-y. I remember he released like 10 albums in a year...I bought multiple of them and none were particularly noteworthy.

I don't know if I'd go that far, that's just me personally though. It's a really good album but I don't think it will be classic status like Pinata.
