subs...im going to try to catch this sometime this week
The scene with the rappers was stupid as shyt. And what rappers still wear gold dookie chains?white folks should LOVE this shyt
:hahapaul:
AND theres a show called Angel from Hell? :meloohhh:
Tom Ellis is perfect casting for this role. He was great in the short-lived USA series Rush.
Hey @TheGodling I actually watched the Lucifer pilot.
If they wouldn't have attached the name to the comic book, they really could've been on to something.
I mean, it's pretty average, but it's not bad. I kept wishing Patrick Jane from The Mentalist would show up and solve the shyt, but yeah.
Also, David Tennant has TOTALLY ruined the "Suave English Bad Guy in a Suit" thing for any other actor.
Mazikeen is in it (sort of), Lucifer's in it, he has a bar called Lux and plays the piano. Outside of that, it has absolutely nothing in common with the book. That includes Lucifer's appearance and personality.
So yeah. Totally average. If they would have named it anything else, I could see it developing.... a cult following.
sorry. couldn't let it slide.
Angel powers? What is the comic books lucifer's powers? Gotta be more than just a confession

Just a son trying to get out of his fathers shadow. Or a man trying to fight his fate. They covers a lot of shyt in over a hundred issues.Only God was more powerful. So really he could do whatever he pleased. Hell, there was a point in a story where he was destroying other realities simply by existing in them, as his mere presence was too powerful for them to sustain.
Thing was, he really just wanted to be left alone.
The book was really about.... honestly I really can't break it down.
second ep was meh.
The smugness of Lucifer gets (moreso the actor I suppose) and his "powers" are kinda weak. Feels more like a sitcom than a crime procedural or comic based show.
