They weren't but the people who were invited chose them as their partners (you can pick your partner).

Is anyone else going to watch the tournament at 4pm EST today? I'm really interested in how this will go down.

The favorite to win is Cloak and High distortion but I'm hoping Hamlinz and Myth win.

Thoughts about season 5:
-The shotguns are still trash and I can only carry one. I'm want the run dual pistols and smg but I never find the dual pistols.

I'm watching. My only thing is from watching Ninja's Vegas event earlier this year. Overly aggressive players like HD, Ninja, and Daequan usually don't do well in tournaments like these. What happens you push a fight then someone else in the cut waits for you to finish. Then they come out the cut and kill you while you have no mats and depleted health. However since this is duos it might be a bit different.

I watched HD keep moving into the storm and then got knocked by the storm

They weren't invited. Only Space got invited and he picked Tenmpo as his partner. All the other Faze players playing are only playing because their partner picked them to play with them. Epic doesn't like them, TSM Hamlinz, TSM Daequan, and a couple other players because they're always criticizing the game. None of them were invited. They weren't invited to the E3 Pro AM either.

I just saw nick mercs getting c4 used on him. And then he died in the storm because he couldnt even move due to the lag.

So what now? Does the team who used the c4 get disqualified this round or what?

This is actually very exciting though and i hope they work out the kinks.

It has so much potential. I got hooked when I watched the Ninja Vegas event. That shyt was actually pretty enjoyable to watch and I thought if that's what it is with a bunch of random people and a few celebrities then imagine what it'd be like with actual pros. The problem with pros is they play like pros so they're just trying to survive. Dudes are camping and running from fights. Creating underground tunnels and shyt.
