This comes out two weeks before MWII. The 11th versus the 28th, and its not really a huge cross over audience. I personally don’t care about CoD

sucks but theres a lot of games coming out October and November and i'd rather they make this game as good as they can.

100% Sony told them not to release it sandwiched between TLOU Remake and God of War.

yeah, square enix is dropping like 3 other games that month also, it didn't make sense. People also forget Hogwarts and Avatar are coming out this year
This and 16 in 2023 is a nice year though. In an alternate timeline these games dropped in 2021

Yeah, doesn’t sound like a technical delay, thats probably why Sony delayed GOWR announcement as these were dropped at the same time. Sounds like someone at Sony told Square Enix to pump the brakes on it.
Can only mean they will polish it even more in the meantime. All that post release stuff they would have done in those 3 months can be added day one
Don't get me wrong I'm excited about Ragnarok but I'm more excited about Forspoken over God of War Ragnarok. Am I the only one who feels that way?
and I'm coppin Forspoken Day 1
We already know what to expect from God of War Ragnarok but Forspoken is just new and fresh and we don't know what to expect from this game.
