Didn't play the demo but going to cancel my pre-order. Sounds like a 74 Metacritic ish game. Hard to justify with limited gaming time, Ishin/Hogwarts Legacy on the horizon and I haven't started God of War 2 yet.

Nah. It's weird the game feels different than how you would expect it. I went in expecting it to feel like Infamous or Ratchet and clank but it feels heavy instead.

It feels more loose then heavy to me. And it's definitely an adjustment to its controls as a lot of its combat and traversal is about hold/release and timing than initially expected. And you move really quick, so it's a lil confusing in the beginning. I played the demo twice and it's mostly clicking for me now tho.

Thats why i think doing a demo this way is kind of dumb. It should have been like the dragon quest demo, play the first 6 hours or so.

I will say, the default controls in this game are trash, had to switch it up to make it tolerable.

After playing the demo, im gonna wait for this game to go on sale.

Edit: it’s not as smooth as I was expecting but the more I played, I kinda like it. Not worth 70 dollars though..will wait for the sale.

Yea that demo was…something. So much shyt coming out in 23 if you not sold on somethig right away, might as well wait for the inevitable price drop.

Only thing about it is I would hate for square to take away the wrong lesson from this, if the game bombs.

I haven’t gotten to the demo yet but I was always on the fence about this game …I will still keep an eye out for reviews and more gameplay tho
