This is what I don't understand about UFC, they throw guys into the fire so early that they never give them a chance to build their resume and their name. You got 4 fights, green as fukk and then have to fight the grizzled champion who has 20+ fights under his belt.
we also have to remember it takes boxers longer to move up because boxers are more skilled throwing punches
the wide variety of techniques allows fighters to move up quick if there extremely skilled in ground or striking
