Furthermore, you failed to understand that I mentioned MMA as a b*stardization of wrestling - which is a true sport, obviously I wouldn't make reference to the b*stardization of a sport that isn't respectable - to further clarify what I'm saying because you seem to be a but slow at understanding, MMA is a b*stardization of a few true sports .

A purist would say let them all be and have them compete in their own realm - hence why I'm calling it a b*stardization

Mma is basically just a fight in a cage. I think you're overcomplicating it. To be a good overall fighter you want to incorporate different styles (stand up, takedown defense, good ground game , wrestling)

Its just fighting. if 2 mma dudes fought outside the cage in a parking lot, itd be considered a regular fight

I only watching ufc and never boxing. The only reason why boxing is still even relevant is because of mayweather. Once hes gone the sport will officially be dead. Everyone knows mma is the shyt now.

lol what an idiot.

UFC never even had its superfights (Silva/Jones, Silva/GSP) and it's clearly been a sink ship since the last year and a half.
Yup, they don't even post PPV numbers anymore because they know its embarrassing...

but Boxing has no new stars...

GGG in his last fight probably got paid more than Florian has made in his entire irrelevant cage fighting career...:mjlol:

I love both sports and don't see why the UFC is so insecure about boxing. Every time they kick up dust, it highlights the pay descrepancies between them and makes MMA look REALLY bad. Plus given the recent drug failures and such MMA needs to worry about its own house before the foundation collapses

It gets so embarrassing when fellow MMA cats get on the boxing is dead wave every few months. Neither sport is "dead" ebbs and flows man.

I said this years ago if these networks don't hype up and build the up/coming boxers. Nobody is really going to know or give a damn about future prospects except boxing purists. So I respect what Hayman is doing trying to get more boxing in multiple outlets to a broader audience. All in all the more boxing shown the better it is for the sport.

It really is embarrassing especially when you consider that most MMA guys are huge boxing fans. Hell Jose Aldo is an admitted Floyd stan and he wants to be a part of the TMT.

To add to this it is imperative that Haymon and Arum take advantage of the May 2nd PPV...

This will be a super bowl esque stage, put your best talent on display for the whole world to see...

I know Arum has Lomachenko on there already but we need more...

Would love to see my breh Walters get more exposure...

That's BS its at least 5-6 fighters that boxing could get behind and push via media (TV, net, print) and pushing there fights...Its some talented young boxers but they don't get attention...

MMA is more action packed than Boxing so people want to see that more...But big names sell and Boxing is running low on those big names they can manufacture more.
In boxing, you earn your dues. You're not 3 fights in going against the top dog. That MMA shyt is whack. Kickboxing is okay but hugging nikkas across the ground!?!?! Keep it.
