I'll admit it can be rough out there for short fellows (below 5'7") in the Western World where people (especially wahmen) think that height is a virtue in of itself.
However, making yourself taller through painful and crippling surgery isn't the way.

I remember seeing this surgery was an actual thing like 15 years ago on an episode of Nip/Tuck with Peter Dinklage.

For people asking why the healing takes so long, they’re basically breaking not one but TWO leg bones and placing metal rods into the bones and periodically TURNING those rods to make the legs longer. The rods aren’t supposed to induce healing, they’re there to literally FORCE the broken bones into stretching. They can’t use anti-inflammatory medication because it hinders the lengthening, which is part of why its so painful.

Its a brutal brutal procedure, in a lot of ways its WORSE from a pain standpoint than a BBL for a woman (but BBL’s are potentially more deadly)

On top of this, they are breaking their femurs. That's the biggest and strongest bone in your body. To call it risky is a crazy understatement
