About the net benefit of immigration on the US economy specifically for people in the lower income brackets. There is minimal supporting evidence that there is active causation between the increase in immigration from 1960 on to the marginal decrease in black involvement in the labor market. Most of those "studies" (which in reality are composed by neo-con hard right people that, for instance, believe that white people have a naturally higher IQ) in the actual log data show that WHITE low skill workers are actually more impacted by immigration.

Ignore the thousands of societal factors that the US directly causes and contributes too which encourages and openly courts undocumented workers to make their way to the US (btw again, the overwhelming majority of undocumented migrants is literally what it implies, people who overstay their visa's and thus are undocumented) for the betterment of their lives because you wanna blame everything on the importation of less than half a million people a year.
