Yes. Savannah is like a mini New Orleans.
My homeboy stay in savannah. Right around the downtown area. No joke the first night I was there nikkas was letting that hammer blow something serious. Probably a block or two over from his spot. Nothing I hadn't heard before but savannah looked like, on the surface, it would be quiet and chill with scad, the base, the beach and the art scene. Oo nah. Next AM I wake up and look out the window, the cats across the street got the feds/task force peaking in their windows and shyt. Homeboy told me they kicked their door down that following Tuesday morning. White folks down there were on a whole other level with their racism too. Savannah is wild as fukk.

I miss NYC. I miss speaking with different ethnic groups, the speed, the buzz, and just the overall epicness of it.
I'm a die-hard NYC head, but there's no question Atlanta is the place to be for a black person in America. Way more opportunities for prosperity. A ton of helpful networks to plug into.
I haven't lived in DMV area so I can't speak on that.

When I lived in Cincinnati and was trying to find some place to live I checked out Miami, LA, Chicago, DC, and Atlanta. I settled on Atlanta because it had the lowest cost of living and I saw black people doing well EVERYWHERE. Real talk when I first moved came to visit I saw nikkas pushing bentleys, Aston Martins, Maseratti's and the c00n in me immediately assumed they were either slangin or entertainers. Come to find out there are a lot of brehs out here just doing legit biz making a killing. My homeboy is like 27 living in a 10,000 square foot mansion eating off this real estate hustle. One of the first nights I went out after moving here and I seen a long line of bentley's, ferrari's, lamborghini's and aston martin's leaving the club. All had their top down. All had dimes in the whip. All dirven by black men
If you have that entrepreneurial spirit, you can't get do much better than Atlanta IMO. If you have career prospects, moving to ATL is an incredible choice. Just don't be one of them dumb nikkas that think you gonna move here, make 8/hr, and some beyonce looking broad is gonna start thirstin over you.
There's a lot of beautiful women here but there's a whole lot of balling ass nikkas too. Steel sharpen steel though so use that shyt to your motivation, I know I sure as hell did
Everything in this post is 100% true. You got no choice but to go hard down here. I've been to the mansions (Cascade, Buckhead). shyt is poppin and been that way for a long time. And the women....

There are sack chasers everywhere. But the point is that with any major city, you get that attention...even black cities.
So lets be clear...just because you can't pull no-good hoes doesn't mean there aren't quality women out here...but if you're really the dusty clown in your avatar, of course thats the type of woman you're interested in...or maybe think is on your level
There are no shortage of well educated, well meaning women out in ATL who aren't looking to chase athletes or entertainment.
You need to change your circle. No one i know even brings this shyt up.

We network in Baltimore real heavyYou must never been to Bmore or PG. I'm in Greenbelt Md as I type this. Blacks in this area don't network and work together nearly as much as they do down south.
Black Pop. in Arlington, I just moved from Arlington/Shirlington. What Black population? It's might be 10%. No way you live here. I've been here since 2004.
I grew up on the Westside, NW to be exact. Ga Tech was a few blocks east of me, Midtown was to the east and north and all that craziness on Simpson and Bankhead was a few blocks to the west. After I got grown and got some bread I pretty much just rented spots in different hoods on the westside in both SW and NW. I lived on the eastside for a second too right in between Edgewood and EA. That shyt was dope. Zone 6 low key was fun as hell. Always some shyt going on and you had like 3 different hoods you could bar hop in- Little 5, EA Village and Edgewood so it was always some shyt to do over there and if I wanted some hood shyt all I had to do was go south on Moreland and hit up Bouldercrest or drive east to Decatur. Outside of Buckhead and Midtown the 6 is probably the most turned up part of the city in terms of shyt to do. But there is shyt to do everywhere its just spread out, like Old National in College Park turns up, Dekalb County got some dope ass strip clubs. Like I know folks in Gwinnett that never have to come to the city cuz its so much shyt to do out there.

Yeah the A aint for everybody. My moms on that big city shyt and she hated Atlanta. The minute her and my pops divorced she got the fukk outta there. If you just have to have that life where you dont need a car and you can just walk or catch the train where ever you need to go then you more than likely wont like the A. There are a few areas where its like that, really dense and walkable but its not the majority and those areas tend to be very expensive. We got a subway but its a joke compared to shyt like the Metro in DC and CTA in Chicago. MTA in NYC? Not even close. But with that said how many folks really live like that? The only cities that really have that vibe are NYC, Chicago and Frisco. DC and Philly too but most nikkas who live in places like that stay in the burbs so they living an Atlanta type lifestyle anyway. I like that big city shyt too but I also like that ATL vibe too. I can do either one but I totally understand people that dont like it.
Both yall nikkas is right tho. There are a ton of good women who are on they shyt doing it the right way in the A, but if you not in that Morehouse/Spelman/Emory/GT circle then its not the easiest to get at them. Im into those earthy type Spelman chicks and to be honest it took me a minute to catch one. I tried for a while and when I would meet one and the topic came up of what my parents did and what school I went to and I told them broads my pops aint no lawyer or a doctor and I went to Atlanta Metro they kinda gave me the
face. They are easy to pull if you are in that circle but if you a nikka like me who is on the outside looking in then its not the easiest. I had a few homies that went to the House, GT and Emory so they plugged me into the spots to go to but if it wasn't for that then I woulda been fukked. Like my real street homies that dont have a network outside the hood always used to be shocked at how I pulled the types of women I did and thats cuz they had no access to that circle. So I can see where you coming from but I can also see how a nikka who move to the A and aint plugged into that circle would just run across sack chasers.
