Optimistic But I Got Hands Tho
No you didn't they share the division with you :mjpls:

I still maintain that Smith, Monroe & Drummond can work (especially with Smith as 6th man), but having Jennings as their PG is the nail in the coffin.

You got me.

But I love the game too much. I like when the Pistons are good. The league needs the Pistons to be strong.

Dumars is just not a patient GM.

Dumars is solid in the draft, he's absolutely terrible when he has some money to spend.

And he learned nothing from his Villanueva/Gordon signings.

Joe fukked this team up about as worse as you can do given the what was available to build with. He got guys like Afflalo and Middleton thriving elsewhere when we could really use a solid scoring 2 guard with range that can also defend and a halfway decent sf with a cheap contract. And a bunch of team have made great coaching hires in the past 10 years while we've been going through a who's who of shytty coaches every 2 years. I got a strong feeling he not gonna make any moves worth talking about before the deadline either.

He's very solid in the draft. Got a great eye for talent with later picks. His issue is he doesn't have patience with some of those picks and gave them up for some futureless trash. I don't know what his obsesion is with horrible rebounding undersized pf's, but he was stockpiling them like bottled water during the 2k scare. Stayed inexplicably wasting cap money on guys like Maxiel, Jerebko, and Charlie V. And he gave up Afflalo so he could sign Chris Wilcox.......CHRIS fukkING WILCOX!!!:dahell:

Nah, he's taking 13 shots a game in that stretch, dude is one of the most inefficient starters in the league. I've hated his game for a while now, dude is a bench player that gets to start.

Says the same Person that wants to trade Moose but keep Josh. I can concede to Gil as far as Josh. But BJ has earned every bit of his 8mill per.

Overall tonight was a good game. I don't praise moral victories. but a low scoring, grind it out game is always better than a 100 pt. shoot fest.

I've never once said they should trade Monroe, I've been pretty vocal in saying that doing so would be a major mistake, and that no team with Josh as their PF will ever win anything.

Jennings is TERRIBLE, I don't know how you can be ok with a PG shooting under 40% like this, especially when his defense is awful and he doesn't really run the offense. He's a "If I can't score, I'll pass it" type of PG, his assists have as much value as Marbury or S. Francis used to, the epitome of empty numbers.

That's why I want him to hang on to Monroe. I'm sick of seeing our castoffs going elsewhere and thriving. Moose has been our most consistent player since We drafted him. Yet he is on the trading block.

And Dumars is completely to blame for the situation, but at least in this case he may be able to flip some real assets for it. All his previous moves were very shortsighted on some we're reloading, not rebuilding shyt, and got them where they are today due to his shortsightedness. I hate to say it, but that championship may have been the worst thing that happened to him in his development as a gm. He stayed thinking he could just retool and tinker a lil bit to find lightning in a bottle again.
