Monroe been putting up hollow numbers for the last 3 years. He doesn't impact the game enough to warrant the contract he will get. And i still believe he is a C not PF. Shouldn't take 4 years for a player to show he can close a game out.

the team has been terrible during that entire time, there was nothing to be closed out, he has to learn how to win first.

Define Hollow. And how is that the case when he is not only one of the most efficient on the team But he ranks pretty decent league-wise also. Look around the league there are only a few max players that can put a team on his back. There are just as few Power Forwards that can be ranked higher than Greg (and that's not even his true position).

Monroe will give you 18 and 10 and leave no impact on game whatsoever. Monroe was supposed to be nearing kevin love, aldridge, randolph, bosh, jefferson, dirk, gasol, Duncan level but even guys cousins, davis, griffin, ibaka have surpassed him. He doesn't bring the consistency of even lesser talented guys like millsap, west, nene, faried, lee, horford, gibson. My problem with monroe is that his game has not progressed since his 2nd year and he's due to get a significant raise. Our best lineups this year dont involve him. He needs to be traded while his value is highest.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Kanter and Hayward for Monroe and Stuckey? :patrice:

Kanter will be due for an extension soon, he's probably gonna ask for close to max, and he can't play PF. It'll just be the same problem they have now, that Josh Smith signing really fukked the Pistons over.

Maybe see if the Rockets would do Parsons for Monroe, which would be kind of difficult cause of Chandler being a 2nd rounder and his contract right now being nothing compared to Monroe. Or maybe the Spurs would bite on Monroe for Leonard. Either way, it's gonna be a tough pill to swallow trading a big man for wings that aren't all-stars.

I'd let Kanter walk :russ:

Parsons would be a good fit for us but kind of a stretch next to Howard. I don't think the Spurs would bite. Hayward can play both wing spots and is a point forward. Honestly dumb that Jazz aren't going to keep him in the backcourt with a small guard like Trey. Kind of dream scenario, outside of getting Batum.

If the Jazz get Parker I can see them moving Hayward since he wants a big deal, in that situation maybe a 3 team trade where Monroe goes elsewhere can work.

Stop quoting stats, we watch these pistons games for years and Monroe is not some efficient top of the line player. Monroe can't dominate anybody in the post and he just might be the worst pick and roll defender in the league. He never gets a rebound when they need it and stay falling and getting ripped when he trying to make a move to the hoop.

What max? :childplease: Dude is no where getting near that. The Utah are awful when he's on the floor. There's a reason why he doesn't get a lot mins anymore. I would try to sell high on him ASAP.
