This movie would be a lot better if Marvel owned Spiderman. Because then you'd be able to see just how absurd Tony's POV is.
Seems like they are trying to work out a deal for him to be able to participate in the MCU instead of flopping with another shytty sequeal...I like Garfield as Spidey, not his fault the movies are :ld:
If they do transplant him for a the civil war story line I hope they keep the same actor.

In the MCU, I'm rolling with Cap.

The MCU has Hydra's fingers in every damn aspect of government. No saying what they'd do if they had a list of the most powerful beings on the planet.

Not that it can't just be simply chalked up to "conspiracy theory", but it's interesting if you note that a lot of the plots in marvel were created around actual social issues that mirrored real life. The idea that the 4th Reich (hydra) has somehow rope-a-doped our government post WW2 and gained control of it from the inside is def one of those concepts that's been out there for a WHILE.

Genetic experiments and enhancements, mind control ect...it ain't exactly flying hammers but it isn't that far fetched to think that this scenario could happen or was actually a plan at some point, whether it was successful or not.

Once the government is compromised (and it has been, in both worlds) oversight is a moot point.

I'm going with cap (or the conspiracy theorist) in the MCU and in real life

Yeah because people who can blow up cars by looking at them, or crumble buildings with a single punch, should answer to no one.

In the comic storyline, Iron Man's point was very rational but they wrote him and his side as villains. It was an annoying storyline IMO because it couldn't treat opposing oppositions with an equal hand.

The shyt all started cuz Nitro blew up a couple of city blocks including a school.
Like registering the superheroes is gonna stop villains from doing what the fukk they wanna do...Ironman was a fukking idiot. :mjlol:

If the heroes had structure, organization, resources and training, Nitro blowing up the school probably never would have happened. At the absolute least there would have been the correct level of response to the situation BEFORE and/or AFTER it happened.

It only happened because the New Warriors, undertrained and inexperienced heroes, engaged the villains in a heavily populated area without planning shyt.

Would you really want noob ass heroes running around in every city? Spider-Man can barely afford his rent, how is he gonna be able to afford to watch a security post 24/7? :mjlol:

They looked like villains because of the extreme measures they took...their fake Thor killed another superhero breh. No big deal right? These dudes blindly supporting the government and killing anybody that opposes them in a heartbeat. Their stupidity was the only thing that was annoying.

Yea because an army of fake, uncontrollable Thors running around is better :comeon: THor made Iron Man bow the fukk down when got word of that bullshyt they pulled proving the registration won't work on heroes that are powerful enough to say "fukk you."

How visually engaging the story is on film will be proportional to how much the plot holes are forgiven:smugfavre:

Just like the event. The art:ahh:

In the "Civil War" movie Black Panther is going to be the neutral hero instead of Spider-Man.

At the Marvel event RDJ and Chris Evans came out and started arguing right under the "Civil War" logo....jokingly, obviously....and squared off like they were about to fight....then Chadwick Boseman came out and they asked him whose side he was on and he said "Black Panther doesn't pick sides, he does his own thing".

EDIT....found the video. Before they come out it shows another scene from "Age Of UItron" too:

I thought BP was always neutral. Spidey sided with ironman then flipped to cap's side.
