If I have to explain to you WHY Super powered individuals pose a very real threat to the general population, you clearly aren't thinking logically.

Cause super powered goverment kill squads in your neighborhood make perfect sense right? :heh:

Minus well be Martial Law with nukes around the corner.

The shyt all started cuz Nitro blew up a couple of city blocks including a school.
Like registering the superheroes is gonna stop villains from doing what the fukk they wanna do...Ironman was a fukking idiot. :mjlol:

It's funny because the whole story line mirrors real life arguments about things like gun control, etc.

That's true about villains but I don't even necessarily mean them specifically. What if one of those "legal, registered" good guys turns heel and decides to kill a bunch of people.....it ain't like that hasn't happened before in comics.

Breh....again....do you not understand we have similar paperwork and laws in place for legally obtaining guns....yet schools still get shot the fukk up?

You're the one that wanted to bring this conversation into real life. If the U.S. government can't protect it's people from legally obtained firearms, the fukk makes you think superheroes would be any different?

For the record I'm not arguing for gun control, I've owned a gun since the 90's. But if I woke up tomorrow and shot up the mall it being legal or registered wouldn't be much comfort to the people that got killed.

You keep saying "there needs to be someone to oversee this!" and "there should be consequences!" but you ain't giving any concrete examples of how it would be done, or who would do it, without the shyt turning into "1984".

Fred.

You seem to forget there is this place they throw people who commit criminal acts.......I can't think of the name of it off hand, but I'm sure you may have heard of it.

the whole point is they are held ACCOUNTABLE for there actions.

There is no fail safe for preventing most things in life school shootings DO HAPPEN, but don't we have law to RESPOND so the shooting doesn't get worse.

Hell, Iron Man is leading the "pro-registration" side of the Civil War and he's a recovering alcoholic. This is the type of people they saw fit to place in charge.

So now the superheroes are owned by the government? so they suddenly stop being super HEROS and become villains because they were forced to register.

You moving goal post like shyt homie.

For me it resonated more with the Patriot Act. OK parts of the Constitution just don't apply anymore...b-b-b-but its for your own safety. Trust us guys, it really is! :shaq:

Lowkey behind closed doors: Yea this shyt will give us powers unlike anything before. With fear anything is possible. Monitor, control, record everything
without any authorization or orders or you knowing.

Thats what Cap was saying all along. We signing over our basic rights as citizens with this bullshyt.

Oh yeah....jail. Arkham Asylum has really helped out Gotham. Likewise real life prisons don't have a high recidivism rate, do they? :heh:

Breh you gotta be trolling with these borderline nonsensical answers.

Does jail stop people from doing anything? fukk no. So what are you saying?

If Villain XYZ wants to vaporize a city block he'll do it whether he's registered or not....and he'll get thrown in some sort of prison, which is exactly what superheroes were doing before Civil War. Basically you're saying you'd feel safer if the government stepped in, when the government, both real and imagined, has proven to be wildly incompetent.

You right since Jail doesn't STOP people from committing crimes, we should abolish prisons. GOOD THINKING. and The Government is wildly incompetent, where HERE in AMERICA. I guess they are doing a much better job in Uzbekistan

The government has the military nikka. What do you think Shield is representative of.

IRL, most superheroes can't go against an army of motherfukkers. What the fukk is Spider-man going to do against the army.

"Doesn't matter what the press says. Doesn't matter what the politicians or the mobs say. Doesn't matter if the whole country decides that something wrong is something right.

This nation was founded on one principle above all else: The requirement that we stand up for what we believe, no matter the odds or the consequences.

When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you to move, your job is to plant yourself like a tree besides the river of truth, and tell the whole world----
--No you move."
I always roll with Steve Rogers.

Doesn't cap lose though?
Cap forfeits.
